They have everything you need in one place, and it’s great that there is room for your bridal party and/or family to stay there too! Another important part of our day was getting to have our first dog together there to be a part of our ceremony, and the dog house they have just made it so much easier! Donny was amazing to work with, and they keep adding even more amazing new features to make it even more special. Our dance floor just gradually moved during our reception from the ballroom to out on the patio under the lights near the silo bar, and it was the most magical night! “From the moment my husband and I toured Hidden Acres we felt this venue was right for us. As an event designer it was important for me to have a venue that would allow me to decorate my wedding as well as enjoy being the bride. This venue was all that and more! With lodging on site, a salon and various areas to host the ceremony…what else could we need? We took advantage of every inch of this property! We decorated on Thursday, had our rehearsal and dinner on Friday and then on Saturday we hosted our ceremony on the lawn and got married on the chapel’s steps. Our guests were able to enjoy cocktail hour in the courtyard and the food was able to be inside the pavilion. Guests moved inside and outside while they enjoyed our food, band, bar (in the silo) as well as red carpet photos and caricature artist. We had so much entertainment and everything had its place. The reception was held in the ballroom. We had it set for 230 guests and the new addition…omg! It’s a must see! We added a few cocktail and bistro tables, and a loveseat to the indoor bar area and our guests were able to mix and mingle during the reception and still be apart of the party. Saturday night we were able to return to the bridal sweet, just a few steps from the ballroom. Then clean up on Sunday. The owner, Donny is so personable. His communication and attention to the needs and suggestions is definitely top notch. As an event designer he has the best communication that I have ever encountered in my 10 years of event design. I would recommend this place 1000 times over! If you’re looking to have a LOCAL destination wedding, please visit Hidden Acres. You won’t be disappointed!”
